The Journey Continues
Helloooooo!
I just recently accepted a part time job at Lululemon in Scottsdale Arizona to compliment my Coaching and Athletic goals/pay some bills while I get more clients haha.  They are very supportive and push their employees to grow as people and live with integrity and authenticity so I love that challenge.  I'm excited I have the opportunity to be involved and their fitness minded approach to clothing has it's perks as well.

So as I was applying for the position one of the questions they asked was, what is a quote that you live by?  Two quotes came to mind for me.  I will share mine and if you get the chance to read this I would love to hear yours! So if you have time don't be shy and post to comments!

1) "Without struggle there is no progress"
~Frederick Douglass

2) "My deepest wisdom is leading me to this decision. If I am wrong, I will learn from it, and my wisdom will have deepened.  I'm willing to be wrong, and grow from it. I trust this process of acting from my deepest wisdom."
~David Deida

1) I heard this a long time ago in a movie and it stuck with me ever since.  It just made sense to me.  I know most of my greatest accomplishments were not the easiest to achieve.

2) This guy! Man you know how things are introduced into your life at the right time!  I love this quote it came to me during a tough time when I had some important decisions to make.  I think more than anything it gave me the confidence to trust myself and if I ever feel a little doubt this quote is on my focus board!

It was a pretty interesting application.  Another question was if I could high five anyone who would it be?  Put it in comments!

Create a great day!

Love the quote Matty! Congrats on the job, don't spend all your money in the store, like any girl would.

(at this current moment) I would totally high-five my best friends brand new baby boy, Finnegan Charles Whitelock. He lives in San Francisco and I haven't been able to meet him yet. :(

I have so many quotes I have captured over the years but this one always stuck with me - not sure who said it - I saw it on an add in either Runners World or Bicycling. "You could get mauled by a bear & die. You could get bit by a snake & die. You could fall off a cliff & die. You could get struck by lightning & die. Or, you could stay home, sit on the couch, eat potato chips, & die."

Congrats on the job - very exciting!

Congrats on your new job Matt! That's fun and Lulu could definitely use some testosterone!!

Well the only quote I can come up with today is from our own Sara Rube - she said to me one day "You never regret the workouts you make it to ... just the ones you don't." It has gotten me out of bed on many a morning!

I'd high five my grandpa!

AND my fav: we fail to realize that mastery is not about perfection. it’s about a process, a journey. the master is the one who stays on the path day after day, year after year. the master is the one who is willing to try, and fail, and try again, for as long as he or she lives. —george leonard
